Apart from posting pictures on social networking sites and sharing exciting moments with friends, no one would have expected a 10 year old boy to be the one that would discover the security loophole of a popular social media network like Instagram.

The amazing 10 year old boy Jani caught the attention of Facebook founder Mack Zuckerberg by hacking his popular photo sharing app Instagram which is also owned by Facebook.

This Kid is not even old enough legally to own a facebook account but his discovery earned him a whooping $10,000 for helping the giant social media company discover the lapses in their security framework.

The 10 year old boy Jani discovered a flaw in the security setup of Instagram which could allow him delete any written content on the photo sharing app just by simply altering a particular code.

“I would have been able to eliminate anyone, even Justin Bieber” He said.
Jani who aspires to be a security expert made his discovery known to the company by forwarding an email stating his findings and the harmful possibilities that could result from keeping it unchecked.

He subsequently verified his discovery by deleting a comment the company posted on a test account. Upon confirmation, facebook moved to fix the bug around ending of February.

JANI BECOMES FACEBOOK’S YOUNGEST WHITE HAT HACKER displacing a 13 year who was the incumbent champion age wise.

Yesterday, Google released Android N Developer Preview 3. One of the inclusions is the new Google Keyboard 5.1.

The main addition here is the presence of themes. You can choose from a bunch of solid color themes for the keyboard. There is also an option to set any image of your choice as a background for the keyboard.

5.1 also brings support for the new emoji that are included in Android N. The previous versions of Google Keyboard could not access the new emoji, meaning you can see them but couldn’t type them, and this update fixes that.

New Google Patent now allows a special kind of coating on self-driving cars to prevent pedestrian injuries during coalitions.

The company (Google, Tech 30) will now coat their self-driving vehicles with a sticky substance that will glue pedestrians to the front instead of throwing them off during coalitions and thereby causing injuries.

According to a statement on the patent granted this week, "the (pedestrian is not thrown from the vehicle, thereby preventing a secondary impact between the pedestrian and the road surface or other object"

As seen in the image below, the hood, front bumper and front side panels of the self-driving cars will be coated with an adhesive layer that will be enclosed under a thin layer till an impact occurred.

MTN finally unveils another superb internet package which serves as a side-plan to the N25 for 500MB mid night plan. The N1000 for 5GB night plan is activated from9PM-6AMunlike the N25 mid-night plan that is activated from 12AM-5AM, that’s why it serves as a perfect side-plan.

Google's Chromebooks outsold Apple's Macs for the first time

Google may be finally taking over the PC market for the first time ever as reports showed that computer makers shipped more chrome books than all Apple Laptops and desktops combined in the last quarter.
The report was made known by IDC - International Data Corporation and concerned analysts have been making their own opinions over this milestone that was recorded by Google in the US.
While some people were of the opinion that the demand from K-12 schools might have contributed strongly to the recent popularity of the chrome books, others were of the opinion that it is due to its affordability and it's ability to run web-based applications which its major competitor - Apple don't.
Analyst Linn Huang on CNN Money said that "Google has also done a fantastic job building out a compelling management console that makes these devices easy to deploy and manage in a school setting. I'd argue, that has been the biggest driver of their growth as opposed to the low price."

Although, Microsoft still remains the leader with sales in schools outside the US but the recent take-over by Chromebooks inside the US is really a thing for them to worry about since US makes up a third of the global education tech market.
